Stacey, Brittany & Michelle have been with the agency for most of this year in training to become Agents. They have each surpassed my expectations beyond their respective roles. Not only have they become indispensable to me in the operations of the agency, but they have also become friends and confidants.

I am confident to say that they are well on their way to becoming wonderful agents, and look forward to long rewarding relationships with each of them!
These three ladies join me, Saritza Hernandez (Senior Agent), Jordy Albert (Jr. Agent), and Brittany Booker (Jr. Agent) in the ranks of agent-hood and will be actively looking for new talent to grow their lists. So be sure to take a look at their profiles and our submission guidelines.
We also congratulate Jamie Bodnar Drowley, on her promotion to Agent Apprentice! Jamie has been doing a wonderful job as an intern with us for a few months already. She will be Apprenticing with me until she is ready to spread her wings. Last, but never least, please welcome our newest team member, Wayne Meyers, Intern and IT specialist. We are very exited about the latest promotions and hires. Please feel free to contact them and offer your congratulations!

I believe that our internal culture and special skills- having a lawyer, editors, PR person, a manger, a doctor, an IT specialist, etc. sets us apart from many agencies, bigger and smaller. We hope that you think so too!
To submit your work for consideration see our submission guidelines, and e-mail your work to query@corvisieroagency.com.
Happy Welcome!
Marisa
Congratulations, the agency is growing strength to strength
ReplyDeleteSo very excited to see our agency growing and am damn proud of our staff. Congrats, everyone!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the promotion ladies! I feel honored to be able to watch this agency grow and to be a part of the family.
ReplyDelete"And, the vision becomes reality."
ReplyDeleteI remember, not long ago, when my literary agent shared a secret dream with me. She bubbled over with enthusiasm as well as a bit of nervous trepidation at the enormity of her quest. I enjoyed watching its birth and the baby steps, complete with inevitable the bumps and bruises of learning. Now, despite still being in its youth, Marisa's fledgling agency has taken flight, joining the other eagles to soar at great heights, and demanding its share of the literary bounty below.
I have no doubt about the future of the Corvisiero Literary Agency. Marisa's engaging personal style and her indomitable drive assure success. For whom? For her agents, authors, aspiring authors who seek her tutelage, even for editors and others in associated venues like screenplay writers and self-publishers. There is something in Marissa's creation for any person who cherishs the written word.
Well done, my lady. Well done!

ReplyDeleteHere's to you guys dominating the field! Good to see you growing.
ReplyDeleteI've watched this agency grow from start-up to a powder keg of accomplishments. Amazing and vastly more entertaining and informative than anything on the net.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to the new agents.

Congrats to your whole team, Marisa! And a special thanks to Stacey, who, although unable to represent my book (too short), gave me some excellent suggestions to improve it. A well-earned promotion.
ReplyDeleteSo nice, for once, to be at "the place to be" - so happy for everyone at the agency. It's been so exciting to watch it grow, especially being a part of it. Funny thing is, I don't think we've seen anything yet...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations ladies!
ReplyDeleteI recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading.
